BASF, Dow, DuPont, Toray, Lanxess and many other chemical giants have sent letters to increase the price, the highest increase is 14,500 yuan / ton, and the price increase date has been arranged from early March to early April, and the second quarter of 2021 The price increase matters have also been arranged properly. While the chemical industry has sparked heated discussions, it has also brought tremendous pressure to downstream customers.

Due to rising costs of raw materials, packaging, and transportation, Innospec Chemical Company will increase the prices of specialty products it sells to the personal care, home care, and industrial markets. This move will take effect on March 15.

Royal DSM announced that it will increase the global prices of its Dyneema® and Trosar™ ÙHMWPE products by an average of 15%, effective from March 1, 2021.

DuPont issued a price increase letter. According to analysis by industry insiders, the global raw material market will fully recover from the freezing and its impact on the supply chain backlog, which is expected to be gradually realized after the third quarter of 2021.
